Illness Insurance - Employee
You can select Critical
Illness Insurance coverage for you in units of $10,000 up to a maximum of $250,000.
This benefit is optional.
The cost of this benefit is paid through payroll
deductions. It is determined based on your age, your sex and whether or not you
are a smoker.
You must provide evidence
of insurability for any amount over $20,000 at initial enrollment and for any
amount in excess of your current coverage. You must then complete and submit
the form that will be presented at the end of the process. Any increase in
coverage comes into effect when the application is approved. Payroll deductions
associated to this increase will also begin at the same time.
