| This benefit covers expenses for eligible drugs as defined by the Company and is subject to any deductible, co-pay, co-insurance or maximum listed in the Summary of Benefits. Benefit maximums are applied on a per person basis.
Certain drugs may require prior authorization to be eligible for payment as identified by the Company. If you click on the information icon Drugs must be dispensed by a provider approved by the Company. When an eligible interchangeable drug has been prescribed, the Company adheres to the mandatory substitution legislation in each province. Eligible expenses are considered to have been incurred on the date the services are rendered or the product is supplied. Please refer to your booklet for more information.
