AD&D coverage provides financial assistance if you suffer a loss of life, use of limb, sight, hearing, and/or speech due to an accident. The death benefit is payable to your beneficiary. The dismemberment benefit is payable to you.
This benefit will provide a tax-free payment in the event of an employee's accidental death or dismemberment.
The beneficiary you have appointed for your Employee Life Insurance will also be the beneficiary to your Basic AD&D coverage.
